Course paths
The courses are organised in paths, so you can start with the phase or role you work in today.
- Fundamentals: Introduction to Clinical Development and Clinical Data, Introduction to Clinical Data Management, and the Set-up, Conduct and Close-out processes take you through the complete CDM lifecycle. Introduction to CDISC adds the data standards used in regulatory submissions, such as CDASH, SDTM and ADaM. See Clinical Development Fundamentals.
- Systems: Introduction to (e)COA and (e)PRO and Selecting Enterprise Systems in Clinical Development cover the systems that carry trial data and how to choose them. See EDC, eCOA and ePRO courses.
- Oversight: Oversight in Clinical Development covers sponsor oversight of outsourced trial activities, aligned with ICH GCP E6(R3). See Managing Clinical Development.
- AI: The practical use of AI in clinical development shows how generative AI can support CDM tasks such as document drafting, protocol review and reconciliation. AI in Clinical Data Management covers what the regulations expect, why AI is harder to validate, and how to implement it with governance and human oversight. See AI in Clinical Data Management.

Who the courses are for
The fundamentals courses are written for Clinical Trial Assistants, Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), life science graduates and aspiring Clinical Data Managers who want a structured start in the field. The standards, systems and oversight courses suit working Clinical Data Managers, statistical programmers, vendor managers and sponsor-side professionals who need depth in one area.
Certificate and online study
All courses are taught in English on the TriTiCon course platform and can be completed at your own pace. Every paid course ends with a certificate that documents the training you have completed. It is a course certificate, not a professional credential: the Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDM) credential from SCDM requires work experience and an exam. Read more in our guide to CCDM and clinical data management certification.
